The Story
History
Aorere 1898.
Aorere was designed and built in Melbourne in 1898. She raced successfully for most of her career in Melbourne before coming to WA in 1988. For a full story go to the history page.
Restoration and Racing
Aorere has just completed her second of restoration in 15 years.
She was re planked below the water line in Huon Pine had some ribs replaced
,in Karri and a new interior installed in Australian Ceder. She is now being sailed in Princess Royal harbour in Albany, WA. For full details go to the restoration page.
